Arizona Biltmore

Jared and I ventured west in May for our first-ever child-free long weekend. We stayed at Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix and spent a large portion of our time on the property itself due to its expansive footprint, various restaurants, and outdoor offerings. Phoenix and Scottsdale are only 20 minutes apart, and each city can be easily explored throughout the same trip.

Below is a concise list of places I recommend in Phoenix and Scottsdale. Our trip was relatively short, so when we return, I would love to visit Phoenix Art Museum, enjoy Pizzeria Bianco, hike Camelback Mountain, and explore Arcosanti.

The recommendations below include only sites I’ve experienced myself. See below for additional guides.

Recommended Eats

Fat Ox | Fat Ox is in Scottsdale and well worth the commute from Phoenix.

Recommended Stay

Arizona Biltmore | This Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired property, designed primarily by Albert Chase McArthur, is nestled near the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.

Recommended Sites

Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West | I highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time.
