An Afternoon with Avaline

I recently announced The Wiley Dinner Series, a deeply meaningful, energizing, and upcoming set of dining experiences. Through Wiley Canning Company, we will soon celebrate and honor recipes from The Wiley Canning Company Cookbook with incredible chefs in Charleston, Los Angeles, and Nashville. Our intimate events will center around shared ingredients, seasonality, space, and connection. Each partnering chef will create a special menu incorporating Wiley recipes: canned, pickled, and preserved fruits and vegetables.

We are absolutely thrilled to begin our dinner series in Charleston, South Carolina with Chef Vilda Gonzalez. Vilda beautifully couples artistic expression with delicious, seasonal dishes. You can read further about Vilda here.

It is also an immense joy to partner with Avaline for our Charleston dinner. Avaline’s wines are made using organic grapes and are completely free from synthetic pesticides. They also are free of added sugars, colors, and concentrates. Avaline is known for their transparent ingredients, growers, and producers.

As we approach and promote our first dinner, I spent an afternoon in my studio capturing their beautiful bottles of Pinot Noir, their lightest red with notes of wild raspberry and cherry, and White Wine, their everyday white that’s crisp and refreshing. I am so grateful their wines are a part of The Wiley Dinner Series’s inaugural event.

You can view Avaline’s complete website here.

You can shop Avaline’s Pinot Noir here and White Wine here. Each are photographed and shown below.
