A Studio Update with Burrow

I am over the moon to virtually welcome you into my studio, Chelsea J. O’Leary Studio, to highlight the offerings of Burrow. For nearly five years, my studio space has remained in transition; I often rented it to fellow artists for small photo and video productions, and I frequently arranged, and re-arranged, it myself to accommodate personal photographic work. Outside of my kitchen, every interior photo in my cookbook, The Wiley Caning Company Cookbook, was captured in this light-filled space. As my book was released into the world, I felt more and more a desire to create more permanence within my studio, a more settled experience. I began to dream about the feelings my studio might soon evoke: inspiration, surprise, contemporary thought, and more. In doing so, I felt connected to Burrow’s modern, modular pieces, as well as accents of primary color: a clear, blue sky, golden yellow tones, and a vibrant, red rug.

The near completion of Chelsea J. O’Leary Studio is due to a team effort. My partnership with Burrow was made possible by Elise Joseph, a dear friend and creative consultant. Lydia Plageman of Lydia Plageman Design, another dear friend and colleague, conceptualized the final layout of my studio, including a petite desk (not pictured), as well as whimsical curtains and a statement pendant. I was first drawn to a yellow-toned rug, and Lydia very wisely persuaded me to pursue a red-toned one. Carissa Shapiro, a third dear friend and colleague, assisted me when photographing this set of photos.

In the images below, you will see the following Burrow pieces:
